Guarantees: All manufacturers' normal guarantees apply so long as the flooring is laid to the specification supplied by the manufacturer in their packaging and the floor is maintained in accordance with their instructions. Damages, improper use and improper environment are not covered. In some cases manufacturers will apply a viewing deposit before a site survey is undertaken if they believe, from the information supplied, there is not likely to be a product fault. Supply of Goods: It may be, that due to circumstances beyond our control, Wood Floor Sales Ltd are not able to guarantee the supply of goods. The acknowledgment generated to a customer at the time an order is placed is confirmation only of the details given by the customer and is not an acceptance of the order. Prices may change at any time or goods may not currently be available. Quality of Goods/Returns Procedures and refunds: Under the EU Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 a customer is entitled to cancel and/or arrange return of the goods ordered up to and within 7 days after receipt of said goods subject to certain conditions. This does not include goods that have been specifically made or altered to suit the customer's own requirements. Notice of cancellation must be given in writing within the specified time limit. Prior to collection of the goods it is the customer's responsibility to ensure their safekeeping and retention of quality. Any collection will be made at the earliest possible time by arrangement with the customer within a 30-day period after notice is received. Wood Floor Sales Ltd is entitled to levy a return charge to cover the carriage cost of the goods. This will be determined and notified to the customer by e-mail, and is dependent upon the size and weight of the goods to be returned. Where goods become faulty within the manufacturer's period of guarantee, and the fault is not due to mishandling by the user, action will be taken to repair or replace the item in accordance with that manufacturer's warranty. Goods to be returned after the 7 day period above or those that are not faulty, can only be done so with the agreement of Wood Floor Sales Ltd who reserve the right, in all cases, to make a restocking charge of 30% + VAT. Delivery: Orders received from UK customers will be sent via Recorded Delivery and someone with authority (if not the customer) must be present to arrange access and sign for the goods in good condition.
