Durati Install Instructions

Let Durati© set the tone.....

a quick, simple and relatively inexpensive solution to create a streamlined effect in your home whilst providing maximum convenience. Be inspired by the gentle character of New England, exotic colours of the Caribbean, the colonial elegance and charm of Africa, create a room that is warm and welcoming, vibrant and uplifting or simply a haven of tranquillity to chill out and relax. So many moods and effects can be achieved with Durati©, it is perfect for any place in the home.

Functionality

Durati© flooring is soft, warm and comfortable underfoot. The aesthetically pleasing designs, soft textural patterns and functionality - it is waterproof, resistant to oils and most household chemicals - make Durati© an easy-care, all purpose flooring for the hardworking and relaxing areas in your home.

Surface Textures

Each collection has its own distinctive surface finish - New Wood is soft and smooth whilst Colour Wood has a distinct rugged edge to it, evocative of New England veranda’s. Our Stone Collection ranges from the smooth veined soft marble, to the subtle dapple texture associated with travertine and limestone to the cleft and rivened effect of natural slate. For the metallic high-tech industrial feel opt for the deeply sculptured chequer plate tile. Craquelet’s smooth surface defies its aged appearance.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Care and maintenance of your new floor is dependent upon the Durati© product you have purchased.

Protection

Protect entrance areas (internal and external) with barrier mats to avoid scratching the surface with grit. Felt pads and castor cups should be used to protect the floor from damage caused by dragging furniture.

Care

Full care and maintenance instructions are available through your Durati© dealership. The floor does not require sealing, however premature damage can occur from using the wrong cleaning products such as bleach, scouring agents, liquid based abrasives and strong alkaline detergents. Furthermore permanent damage to the surface can be caused by stiletto heels, sharp objects, cigarette burns etc. Black rubber tyre marks need to be tackled immediately to prevent permanent staining to the surface of the floor caused by anti-oxidants in the rubber.

General

Sweep or vacuum the floor regularly with the brush head lowered to remove traces of all loose dirt. Wash the floor with a damp mop and a neutral or mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly to avoid build-up of cleaning agents which could dull the floor surface.

Environmental Care

Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, Durati© is an entirely synthetic material and is therefore not best suited to those very concerned about environmental issues.
